Organic Bilberry Powder 100g
Organic bilberry powder is made from dried and finely ground whole bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus L.), a wild European blueberry relative that grows in northern Europe and parts of Asia. Unlike cultivated blueberries, bilberries are typically harvested from wild or organically managed forests and are richer in anthocyanins due to harsher growing conditions. Our organic certification ensures no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs are used. The rich purple-pink color of the powder comes almost entirely from anthocyanins in the skin and flesh (bilberries contain anthocyanins throughout the fruit, not just in the skin).
Organic bilberry powder is one of the most anthocyanin-dense whole-food supplements available and offers evidence-based support for eye, cardiovascular, metabolic, and cognitive health when used consistently at 3–10g per day.

Health Benefits:
Eye health & vision improvement: Anthocyanins improve retinal blood flow, enhance rhodopsin regeneration, reduce oxidative stress
Antioxidant & anti-inflammatory: High ORAC value (> 500 µmol TE/g). Anthocyanins scavenge Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and inhibit Nuclear Factor Kappa B proteins that attempt to create poor immune response and inflammation
Cardiovascular protection: Improves endothelial function, reduces arterial stiffness, lowers oxidized LDL
Blood glucose regulation: Slows carbohydrate absorption, improves insulin sensitivity
Cognitive function & neuroprotection: Anthocyanins cross blood-brain barrier and reduce neuroinflammation
Gut microbiome modulation: High fiber + polyphenols act as prebiotics | Increases beneficial Bifidobacterium
How to Consume/Use:
- Smoothies and Beverages: Add 1 teaspoon (5g) of Bilberry powder to your favorite smoothies, juices, yoghurt or oatmeal. Blend well until smooth and enjoy the vibrant pink goodness.
- Salad Dressings and Dips: Create vibrant dressings or dips by adding a teaspoon of Bilberry Powder to your favorite recipes. It enhances both the visual appeal and nutritional value.
Tips : Combine with a small amount of fat (milk, nut butter, cold pressed oils) for better anthocyanin absorption. Heat-stable up to ~120 °C, so it can be baked into muffins or energy bars.
