Native to Southeast Asia and the Indian highlands, Perilla seeds have been cultivated for centuries for both their culinary and medicinal properties. Small oval-shaped seeds, RAWGANIQ Perilla seeds have a very pleasant but mild, nutty scent with subtle undertones of earthiness, with a hint of herbal freshness. This unique fragrance adds an extra layer of sensory enjoyment to any dish they are used in.

Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, they are one of the highest plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), that supports heart health and reduces inflammation. The seeds contain high levels of antioxidants, such as rosmarinic acid and luteolin, which help protect the body from oxidative stress and support overall immune function.
